Date for your diary – Next week! Virtual sports week will take place next week and we would like to encourage everyone from your household to get involved and have fun whilst doing so! The only thing you will need in preparation is some water balloons, however a wet sponge will be a fine alternative. Every day next week, I will blog two activity cards for you to complete; you will then send your two scores into me via email. I will then keep you informed of the leaderboard every day. There will be one winning house by the end of the week. Please take a look at the information page for more information.

Hope you had a great weekend, and maybe had the chance to catch up with someone you had not seen for a while.

We have now completed the ‘collect and connect’ phases of our animal information text.
Therefore, we are ready to create. Now is the time to start writing the text in the format you have decided. Write up your research into the individual sub-heading you have decided on. Remember the purpose of your writing and your audience; include all the features we have looked at in your work*: Sub heading, pictures, captions, passive voice, subordinating conjunctions, relative clauses, semi-colons and colons.
Some of the examples you have created this week should be easy to just transfer into your final piece.

I would love to see your first drafts; please send them in to me.

We are going to try and paint our graffiti logos in school. In order to do this we/you would need to create a blank stencil of the word which we can then spray or paint onto.
